It takes a while to memorize but once you got it down it saves so much time, and it's so much simpler than using a French keyboard.

Well I don't use a foreign keyboard because I barely know English, even, I've memorised all of the alt-codes for Spanish. It's that I can't access them without turning on num-lock, which disables part of the keyboard for it. It's extremely inconvenient. And apparently alt+fn doesn't work on this laptop. Hopefully I just fix my internet soon.

And just how often do you use that í in french?

Cause, you know, you might be doing something wrong, FYI.

I was just going over the accents that LR had used in that last phrase in Spanish. Don't worry, I'm well aware of how to use accents in French. ;)

Guano is a noun. Also, adjectives don't modify adjectives (except in German! Viel verrückt!).

What about "Bright red balloon" ? Bright is modifying red.

Also, I know guano is a noun in Spanish, but he clearly censored the English slang term "batshit" by making it Spanish.

I'd handle "bright red balloon" using the same morphological trees we used to form compounds.
Now, I'm too lazy to actually make one, but it would work something like this:
red is a noun (which is possible)
bright is an adjective
Together, they'd form the noun, "bright red".
Which becomes a single adjective when it is re-analyzed and compared to "red". That is, it is a compound adjective (compare: "a balloon that is the colour red that happens to be bright" with "a balloon that is the colour bright red"). This behaviour is common, especially in English, where words are often taken from one lexical category and used in others.

One problem:
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/guano
Guano's a noun in English, too.

1. How is "bright red" a noun? Unless you're referring to a smart commie. It doesn't make sense.
2. Again...I was not referring to actual guano, I was referring to the slang American adjective "batshit".

I like to think of it as the French Canadian equivalent of Newfoundlander English.

Yes it does. But since I can't find a good example I'll just give you this:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/bright
Bright can be an adverb. Surprise!

Yeah but not when referring to the color red. It's not being red "in a bright manner", it's just a bright shade of red. Surprise!
