Animated hosers?

Well it looks like Bob and Doug McKenzie is returning to Canadian TV, except this time they are animated. Looks like Canadia wants their own Family Guy or something. My big disappointment is that instead of Rick Moranis, they are having Dave Coulier in there instead. Fellow Canadians and everyone else who is familiar with these two and think everyone from Canadia is stereotypical of them, what are your thoughts?

linky thingie here

Oh man, if it bombs that means I'm going to have to change my cellphone ring to something else lest it gets associated with the new show. Great, now I'm emotionally invested.

Man, I keep reading the Topic Title as 'Animated Horses' and wondering why people are still talking about "Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron".

To be fair, Family Guy with Canadian humour already exists. Its called The Simpsons. Canadia supplies some of the great comedy writers.

I will agree it supplies good comedy writers but I wouldn't hold the Simpsons up as an example of that.

Can you think of a funnier widely-released animated show? I was trying to keep comparable.

OH if we're keeping it comparable then. Just sayin' that Wayne's World is quite funny and that's Canadian.

Even if it's written by Canadians, it's still geared toward American humor.

What's the difference between American and Canadian humour? I thought that we find most of the same things funny.

On the topic, anyone else like Corner Gas?

Well, I couldn't tell ya. I can only base what I say off of O Canadia since it's the only purely Canadian show I've seen.
