All I play is a trial version of city of heroes. Every two weeks I would make a new email address. I save the costumes to my hard drive and give him different abilities.
Just like an std, will never fully go away.

A lot of good games have been mentioned, would add a few that I think haven't yet been. Some indication of what kind of games you prefer would help ;-)

'Classic' Games:

X-Com Series, particularly Terror from the Deep.
Deus Ex - Just gaming excellence
Fallout 2 - Available as a portable installation, link below.
Sid Meier Games - in particular the revamped Pirates!, Alpha Centuri and Civ2
Anachronox
Arcanum
Planescape Torment
Dwarf Fortress - Hell of a learning curve but fantastic community (Get a graphical mod if you dont like the ASCII)
Warcraft 3 (DOTA)

'Modern' games:

Crysis and Warhead
Call of Duty 4/5 - SP is win, MP is great if that's your sort of thing. Play on the hardcore servers would be my recommendation. Less faggotry.
Dead Space
Empire Total War - Im waiting for patches and more mods personally
Sins of a Solar Empire
Navyfield - Korean made game for online naval fleet battles, free with an option to pay for some upgrades but its not necessary.
X3 - Terran Conflict - Improved on the last but still impressive learning curve
World of Goo - Cool, independent, puzzle-solving, physics-based game.

Quiet a few good games here so really worth a browse

I love Alpha Centauri, because it's a space-take on Sid Meier's other amazing game, Civilization.

Yeah I have that, Civ 2, Pirates! and the Max Payne games currently on my laptop for when have to travel for work. I think I'm actually gay for Sid Meier

Should actually add the two Max Payne games to the list.

I forget if I mentioned Supaplex. Which was probably my favourite PC game ever.
I also enjoyed Chips Challenge, which I think came with a Window 3.1 game expansion pack or sommat. Somewhat less fun to play than the Supaplex, mostly because it didn't respond to the controls as well (it was very much moving one square at a time, which was very frustrating at times when you had to move quickly over longer distances), but still a very fun game.

Call me twisted, but I truly loved Postal. That game had to be one of the most twisted, sick, vulgar and amusing games I have ever played.

I pre-purchased Killing Floor and am now waiting for it to unlock by studying for finals, so I have a bit of time to play it. I played the UT2004 mod a few years back and it was a lot of fun. This better be a pretty good upgrade from that though, since this cost real money dollars.

From watching speed runs of Postal 2 and Postal 2: Apocalypse Weekend, I can say I would have immensely enjoyed this game.

Been following that, would be interested to know your opinion on how it works out.

Well since I can't sleep, I decided to try it out. It's a lot better than the mod. It takes the basic build of it and improves upon it in almost every way. The only complaint I have so far is the fact that you can't drop your original small pistol. It takes up space that can be much better used.

Sounds like something that will have a community furore and then likely be patched given the history of the game/mod....hopefully.
