Happy Birthday, little falling shapes!
Hey, Tetris turns 25 today!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I plan to observe this occasion by playing some Tetris.

Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

Ah fuck tetris, I need to get to work.
I'll play it later. Did I ever tell you guys that I used to be really good at tetris? It's not a very interesting story, in fact that's the whole thing.

Original Doctor Mario is where it's at!
Tetris used to always stress me out as a child. Something about frantically calculating patterns and working with the shapes without any explicit motivation or context* really frustrated me.
* "explicit motivation or context" is defined as (for the purpose of making my point) "levels that are visually different from each other and give a sense of progress, a plot, or at least a kind of 'pat on the back' after achieving the goal."

You were spoiled. Why think of an overly complex game when you have a game that, with skill, can be played forever?

Yes, the women were pretty forward with their offerings of their bodies.

Damn kids with your playstations. In my day, we didn't have a princess to rescue. Our only aspiration was surviving longer than we had last time so we could get a bigger number.davoid wrote:Original Doctor Mario is where it's at!

My mom was a local Tetris champion at her university. She probably should have used the time spent on that to study more, but I think her life has worked out pretty well regardless, and being able to say "I was the best Tetris player at the university" is probably cooler than "Hey I learned some crap I never cared about and never used anyway."

That'd be cool, except there's no way that I could possibly be the best at all of UofT. I sincerely believe that most of these people have nothing better to do than play tetris.

What's the T stand for? There's a whole lotta T states out there. And plus I think there's some T's in Canadia.LordRetard wrote:That'd be cool, except there's no way that I could possibly be the best at all of UofT.
