Whatever happened to "Whatever happened to Baby Jane"

A pretty freaky movie with a decent plot and twist, if you can stand old black-and-white movies. Anyone else seen it?

The one part that just sucks me right out of the action is that throughout the whole movie Blanche never thinks to just crawl down the stairs and out the door.


But, a "must see" if you've ever wanted to understand the allusion behind that classic Seinfeld quote "but ya are, Blanche! Ya are in the shackles!"*


*The airport episode where George steals the last copy of a magazine from a convict.**

I haven't seen the movie, but I have seen French and Saunders spoof it, and I like to think that counts too.

Yeah, the ending to the actual movie is a tiny bit different from the French and Saunders ending (which I just looked up on youtube)
