Not really sure, as I don't have one. But I have a suspicion that you will be required to pay for things. Damn you paying for things!

I am the extreme. Money is nothing to me. I go threw alot of it. When you dont got anyone or anything in your life to spend it on, you tend to have lots of it.

Oh, now that I think about it, yeah, you pay xbox points for them (which cost real money, which is silly) and it downloads to your hard drive (and you will need a hard drive with free space). I don't know if you need xbox live but I think so. The game might need to be patched but that happens automatically by connecting. If you have actual xbox games then it works much the same way, except that you can copy it straight to the hard drive from the dvd; note that there is no way to play an xbox game on the 360 using the original disc without copying it to hard drive and patching it.

That just sounds stupid. Paying to play a game you already bought. It dont say anything like that. It just says that it has to connect to the net and download something to play it. Thanks for the info. I have not had my box on the new in a few days.

If you already own the game you don't have to pay for it, you just have to copy it to your hard drive and download any patches (which you will be prompted to do). If you have a physical copy of the game (that is, the disc that you bought) you won't have to pay any more money.

Re: xbox games on the 360
Depends on when you bought it, I think. I know that the later production PS3s do not play PS2 games, and I think the ones that play PS2 games could play PS1 games.
So if you bought your PS3 at launch, it should be backwards-compatible. If you bought it at any subsequent time, you're out of luck.

If you remove the faceplate you will find that it can. As a warning, removing the faceplate will void your warranty and summon forth a host of demons bent on destroying everything you love.

Yeah, you don't mess with Nintendo. Although every NES game is already an easy rom to download. Hell, most of them are easy to reproduce.
