This is a funny story. I was sleeping the other morning. My mom went to the flea market. She comes over and wakes me up by throwing something at me. I look at it and I was like holy crap. There it was. The port for the Xbox. I had not played mine in a while. Good thing I keep it in my closet. On to the review.
Graphics.
They are Xbox. I always them Xbox graphics. They seemed to be better then ps2 and way better then the Gamecube in certain games. I will give you all some stills. They are top of the line for its time. At least I think they are. To each his own.

Game play
This is survival horror. It is a good genre. Its an old generation so controls are not real great. I have my quake modified to play like it. Inverted camera movements. You can choose the color of the blood. You can choose your difficulty. I played on very easy. I will admit that I cant play games on hard.
Puzzles
These are a pain. A real one. It took me 2 hours to figure out the hotel part. There is some tricky ones. You can choose the difficulty of them on a selection screen. Once again very easy. Don’t get after me. You all might find them hard also.
Story
James Sunderland. He got a letter from his dead wife. She died of an illness 3 years earlier. So he enters Silent Hill. That sounds so cool. He meets some real characters. He fights his way threw mazes and puzzles and used a boat only to find out the truth.
Monsters
This is the first game with the big guy. He uses his great blade and a spear. There is some burses and dogs. There is also a mannequin monster. There is a picture that comes to life and walks around chanting at you.
Other characters
Angela Orosco is a teenage girl who is searching for her mother. She is a basket case and a knife wilder.
Eddie Dombrowski worked at a gas station. He likes to shoot stuff. People and dogs mostly.
Laura is a little girl wondering around Silent Hill. She has a connection to James’s wife.
Maria is a clone of James wife. She is a big factor in the game so I’m not saying anything else.
Overall
It’s a Silent Hill. 4/5. For pole dance, killing and the big guy. Would have been perfect but the background noises confused me to much. You cant tell if it’s a monster or something making noises in the background.
I have not played threw the Restless Dreams scenario yet. I might get to it one day.
