The Ting Tings Rule

Post by HARDKORE »

Just wanted to put that out there. They rule. You people should listen to them. Go buy there music. Listen to it on youtube. IDK how you do it just get there music into your head. You will climb one rung up the ladder of awesomeness if you do.

On another note, when I have pictured Kimra I picutre her as Ms. White.

Haha yeah, they were alright I suppose. Though I got disappointed when I tried to find out a bit more about them and discovered that the lead singer was just a rich girl with a daddy giving unending financial support. I was going through a period at the time where I was starting to notice a correlation between people with success/potential of a person, and the wealth of their family, particlarly with uni friends. It was the first time I really understood the extent of the capitalist system over here :( .

Since when is chemistry not a science?

Yeah, capitalism does suck, I guess. Although most people think artists need to struggle to thrive artistically to be great. I don't think that really is the case, even though there are those who get thrown off track. The very birth of music and art as entertainment and expression only came about through patrons of the arts and their excess wealth allowing people to begin exploration rather than work on a farm.

So the pursuit of money can lead people to divulge from the true following of art for profit, but a rich person's artistic vision shouldn't be any less valuable. It's really just reverse-elitism. Shame on you dude.

Also, I didn't listen to the band yet.

It's one thing to be a spoiled brat, but it's another if you're also a lousy artist.

Yeah I don't think they're that great. I would suggest listening to Tame Impala or The Panics.

You all just have to listen to them over and over and over and over again and while your at it, be looking for a way to ease a broken heart.

I can't find a link to Sabbath's Over and Over, but it's okay because it was a shite song.

Hmm, a talented cook with many recipes from the orient!
Any self respecting Clue(do) fan has watched this film multiple times. In fact, I once watched it eight times in a row (totaling 12 hours!!) The strange thing with this film though is that EVERY time you watch it, you catch another joke that you missed before because you were laughing so loud.
