Anyone still interested in hearing my defense of AVATAR? Cause I'm kinda over the movie already, wasn't that great...

Alice in Wonderland

Lets talk about a better 3D movie (potentially better at least): Alice in Wonderland

I want to see this movie.

On that note I watched Twilight again today, because my sister had to be forced to watch it. It was still terrible, but.. my sister was enjoying it. Then the drugs left her system and she saw it for what it truely was. I have emotionally scared my sister, I am a terrible person.

Oh no

no no no they are not doing this. I watched the trailer. This is not the book I love. This is if they took the book I love gave the illustrations and ten of the words to Disney and told them to hit it with the cliché hammer until it stopped moving.

One, Hiccup and Snotlout are not friends, American, or of different genders.

They don't fight dragons, they all train them. When Hiccup asks if anyone has tried to train a dragon, the answer should be "Yes. That's why we have all of these dragons."

Wow, I wasn't even aware there was a book. I hate it when movies butcher good books, I officially take back my earlier post.

Good for you, and you should read the book.

Or buy the audiobooks, which are read by David Tennant. Off of Doctor Who!

I will keep an eye out for the book, and will read it if I get the chance. I'm willing to bet with the movie coming out, the book shouldn't be too hard to find.

Does it make me evil that I'm going to watch this movie despite the butchering it has received?

I will refrain from reading the book (who wrote it?) until after I've seen the movie, or I'll dislike the movie by default, and I kind of like liking things. Then I'll have both movie and book that I like and I will be twice as happy.

I don't think so. I still watched Ella Enchanted knowing full well what to expect.
