I feel this is going to be a bit like Mount Everest to anyone who tried googling "How to Attract Asian Women" and assumed that one of the results would have all the answers. The section is also just as cringeworthy to read as everything else, and mostly misses the point.

I only read far enough after that to check to see if they were going to make sweeping generalizations about people based on race. Attracting women, Asian or otherwise, is thankfully not something I have to worry about right now and hopefully never will again.

While we were on the topic I was going to link to the creepy white guys tumblr which documents some of the creepy racist advances from mostly white dudes Asian ladies are regularly subjected to, but I just checked and the site is now down.
'Nice guys' of OK cupid was similarly forced to shut down because of harassing messages accusing the sites of 'victimising' the guys whose profiles or messages were posted on the site.

I do find it depressing that websites of this sort are often accused of being 'misandrist' and victimising of the people whose profiles or messages are posted, and yet revenge porn sites are defended as being 'legal' and the victims' equal responsibility, and so perfectly justifiable.

Oh well, at least there's still straight white boys texting.

Revenge porn is starting to get outlawed in the US. A handful of states already have laws. Some of the laws are badly written and enforcement could be tricky, but it is a step in the right direction.

Yeah it's more the attitudes towards it that are not great. The same people justifying revenge porn are usually the same people accusing sites like creepy white guys or nice guuys of OKCupid of victimising the poeple in the examples.

That guy shouldn't be allowed to write. Or at least his thesaurus should be taken away. "Controverts?" Not only does it sound like he is trying too hard, but it isn't the best choice and doesn't work all that well in the sentence. Good journalistic writing* should be precise and engaging. His writing reads like someone trying to fake intelligence with vocabulary. It made me dislike and dismiss him even more than my belief that his opinions are ridiculous.
