Said our ,,critic" in our country called Marko Crnkovic, when he was a guest in local televiso show called trenja, which means CONFLITS. Well i gotta tell you, that i actaully never like the guy, but what he said in that show was fantastic. Telling all this mainstream pop,, MUSICIANS" that they are nothing was something wery much real.You couldnt see that every day, specially not on a television. The people who were this musicans are some plastic assholes playing for your mother,father or grand mother.
They were Manca spik, some guy called WERNER and some other asshole. But ,,MUSICANS like them or not the metinon MTV ,,musicans" who are actaully not real musicians, that this thing went so far, that we who are real musicians dont know any of this pop teen shit by his NAME. Even the younger generation, they dont know this artits name anymore because ther is no quality, or if you look at Eurosong.
There are maybe 5 good song in last 15 years. That is nothin. Most of those people are seling their tits, ass and their fake lauzy lyrics, i remember when popstar competitipn came to our country in the spring in 2002.It was kind of bizarre seing a guy in his thirties crying in front of ,,JUDGES" and all other people who were ther, not to mention, all those peope without their own personalities, but the funny thing is that peope who are into Metal or Punk or Jazz, Rap have the same attitude. They would like to lick the ass of some mainstream band.They just dont get it. Every one from mainstream hate when we told them how fantastic, cute, or great they are. But the LIKE when you are honest to him, even when you told hi/them that the are just pathetic. There is some genre in our area of Balkan called Turbo Folk.
This genre who was actally invented by legendary balcan musician RAMBO AMADEUS. He created that word that corrupted and spoiled national folk music in Balkan.That s why real people hate that Turbo folk shit. But the main problem is that people just doestn try do discover a new music.Try to listen something different. Let say avantgarde or free jazz, or any kind of other stuff. Most of the just gotta hear that stupid banal pop rithym all the time. Well those links that you can see down below, are mostly pop songs of us, because you wouldnt take it our real music. I became violent to my fathe, couple a years ago, when he told us, that our band is nothing, while he supported, Turbo Folk musicians, just because they were on television and we were not. I was dissaponted with that area of Bosnia. , c.Well , he is 74 now and last year i took him out to smoe underground clubs , when he could hear some real avantgard music or real meaning of this.He almost got a heart attac, when he saw playing my band .Well, that is cool in some way.
I totally agree with him when he said what of bunch of losers are these people lying down on the ground,
in front of all those underground clubs in METELKOVA. Those people made a bad name for Metelkova
The problem of Metelkova clubs is that real alternative is fighting with this fake alternative mind of people who are running this clubs.Half of these clubs are good, those who are still supporting real underground, other half is bad who are promoting shit packed in alternative or underground.
METAL people who tought that they were something more, just because they played more tehnicallly music, than those who played 4 chords.
PUNKS who tought that is sense of life, who doesnt understand that this genre is such a big paradox.
