I am glad we are all in agreement that Robot Jox is now and always will be the greatest movie of all time, ever.

MOVIE OF THE NOW:
Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
It's a pretty okay movie, though I don't really see what all the fuss was about. Wait, was there a fuss about it? These things get mixed up in my memory sometimes.

I thought it was a good watch once. I don't see why people treated it like a cult classic.

It was really funny until everyone started quoting it all the time.

Re: LR's MOVIE OF THE NOW
I didn't think it was funny until I watched it a second time.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

I enjoyed it the first time around, but I also hadn't heard much about it before seeing it.

Re: LR's MOVIE OF THE NOW
This seems very similar to my experience with The Hangover, everyone ranted and raved about how good it was, I got wary of it. Ended up receiving it as a gift on DVD. The first time I watched it, I hated it. But upon a second viewing many months later, it was kinda funny.

Re: LR's MOVIE OF THE NOW
I felt pretty much the same about Hangover. It was hyped. I watched it. I didn't care for it (but I halfway attribute this to being very tired and having slept through nearly half of the movie). Rewatched it last week, and thought it was rather good. Still not as good as the hype, but enjoyable.Frostbite wrote:This seems very similar to my experience with The Hangover, everyone ranted and raved about how good it was, I got wary of it.
