Yeah Frostbite told me about it so it's already in my Steam library.

Tried grabbing it last night and had it get stuck at 160MB... apparently the local servers haven't sync'd yet and the fiddling with SEACOM isn't helping.... :/...

Looks weirdly reminiscent of Alien Breed and those none-too-great Shadowgrounds games.....

This reminds me of another free game that was available on the sony launch pad thing whose name escapes me. Top down alien shooter with I think 32 players on a server, split between playing the humans and the aliens. Was pretty fun. Downloading this now to give it a try.

Edit: I'm also playing League of Legends a lot recently. It's a top down free to play game as well but its more competitive than cooperative.

I also play this, however have stopped since the whole season 1 competitive thing happened. Started TF2-ing again instead because serious competition brings out the worst type of gamers.

The only game I regularly play is Defence of the Ancients, which is what League of Legends is actually based on. I'm not very good at it though.

Interesting game. Seems to be way more graphically intensive then is visually apparent aka it chokes my laptop up . Most of the missions require the use of a tech character at some point in them so if that character dies you have to start over, the other characters all seem to be important but expendable. The practice map has one of those cliche slow moving elevator scenes which is cute but laggy.

I played a game online and everyone seemed to be helpful rather then the shrill you encounter in most competitive online games so that's a plus at least. I crashed for some reason and couldn't rejoin my online game because the game servers don't have names, when you are joining a game it just lists the map's name and difficulty level.

It crashed on startup for me :/

I'm also going to assume it's one of those games that requires a mouse so I guess I'll just leave it sitting on my hard drive until I become rich and can afford a good computer.
