I've been listening to Kmart in-store background music. It's very calming.

What? o.O I better go check that KMart is something different in your world.

Edit: It is not different. How are you still sane?

I think maybe it's the nostalgia?

I've been listening to a lot of older Modest Mouse songs from the 90's and early 2000's for the first time during this past week. The main reason behind this are these fantastic unofficial music videos being made by one particular Youtube channel that are well selected and edited to suit the song in question. Their just great and I love the dedication put into all of them.

Since when is chemistry not a science?

Poulenc - Dialogues des Carmélites

This is the opera my school is doing next semester. I dunno if I'll be playing on it, but there's a good chance (calls for three bassoons). It's pretty cool. Not generally the biggest fan of opera.

The Weakerthans - A Plea From a Cat Named Virtute

I've been rediscovering Weakerthans lately. I can't stand most of the indie music i listened to when I was 19, but these guys hold up really well.

Bing Crosby - Do You Hear What I Hear

Hey, Did You Know this song was written in response to the Cuban Missile Crisis?
