Ah yeah, I got tekkit recently at an impulse and was majorly confused by it all (it kept me giving me unlimited amounts of every conceivable item even though I was in survival mode?). If it's still running I wouldn't mind trying it out on a multi-player server.

It sounds like your NEI is in Cheat Mode. When in your inventory, click on 'Options' in I think the lower-left corner. Then find where it says Cheat Mode and toggle it over into Recipe Mode. When in Recipe mode you can hover over an item and press R to find out its recipe and U to find out what it is used for.

As far as I'm aware Industrialgaming is dead as a doornail. It was run by a super-brotacular racist and homophobic Australian dude on the dole who was paying the hosting costs out of his uneployment benefits. I don't know how it all ended but it apparently happened shortly after I burned out and stopped adminning.

Oh yeah, I remember him, he was great. Tended to call Ed a (I am ignorant and should be dragged into the street and shot in the mouth.) and swore all the time. A true Aussie hero.

We are blessed to know he is one of us.
