Yeah I blogged about it. It was an important day for me

So, I am done playing Minecraft until I get a credit card 'cause it fucked up while my internet was down for some reason and now I can't play offline.

Played for a bit today, searching around the cave network I found. And what did I find? 4 redstone blocks and 5 or 6 diamond blocks! Huzzah! Also found a second mob spawn point quite near to my other one. If I had time and didn't want to watch the Leaf game, I'd have set up a trap for the one for now. I have a bunch of supplies for all that stuff. Working on tunneling underneath the spawn spot, and having a compass really helps for that.

Don't mobs just spawn anywhere it's dark? (except for slimes)

I believe so, it is just inconsistent. There are places, though, that they spawn regularly. They look like this. and are usually found in caves and whatnot underground. Surrounded in worked stone, with some mossy stone, as well as a number of chests and the little flaming grate thing in the middle.
