I know most of you are guys, but I'm really enjoying Return to Cranford, the second series of the Cranford story. It's set in the 1840s in a really small town filled mainly with women. It's partially funny and partially really quite sad, and it's about their general lives and how the railway impacts them, how the traditional makes way for the new, how they find partners and what they do to survive without them, that sort of thing. Has some fantastic actresses (and actors) in it.
Any of you seen it?

Saw it airing on TV The other night, but I didn't really want to watch it. It didn't seem like the sort of thing I'd be interested in.

At the moment it's on the ABC if you're in Australia.
I enjoy it a lot, I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea on this forum.

There are so many fantastic actors in this show.
Unfortunately the show is extremely angst ridden. I think it's four or five deaths in the first two episodes and two major injuries!
