Well, a PC and game consoles are slowly nearing each other. The only reason I use a console is because I can get all the graphics and processor power for the more extreme games for a cheap price. Eventually, the two will collide. I give the modern console a decade at most.

As for PlayStation's Move and Xbox's Kinect, both of them will fail pretty soon. The Wii has the dedicated built-in motion sensing and a game database that's already large. Most people that want motion sensing either already have a Wii or don't want to spend extra to get this new tech with minimal applications. My guess is that it'll fizzle when it fails to raise a large fanbase. And then the Xbox 720 will come out, and will probably be the last high-selling console to come out before the death of dedicated gaming consoles.
