Man I hate this new job. I dont get time for much anymore. I just dont get to read the forums but once a week now. Because they are not work related. Some of you all know what im talking about. Playing on the internet while at work being frowned apon.
About the strings, if banjos are like guitars, the nylon strings will yes, not hurt your fingers as much, and generally produce cleaner notes when played on their own. Metal strings are far better for strumming chords though, in my opinion. And it's most that likely that none of what I just typed even applies to banjos.
