Staring into the abyss that was her life Rachelle just tried to remember where it all went wrong. Ever since that night last March everything had just spiraled out of control, and to think, at the time it seemed a fantastic idea. Thinking back she still had to fight the smile, even knowing the horrors that night had visited on her, on more then her, she couldn't bring herself to regret him. With a sigh she tried to forget his touch upon her flesh, and starring out over the steel gray sea, get back to the job at present. She grabbed the spear, pulling it out of the sticky flesh already gone cold, heaving it over her shoulder she continued down main street, what was left of it. Moving through the wreckage Rachelle kept her eyes out for the glint of metal in the lowering evening sun, hoping to find dinner before she had to hole up for sunset.

Thinking about it she could still feel his arms wrapped around her, the slightly salty musky scent of him, the storm that lit his eyes.
