I think this comic was meant as a jab at mothers believing they have a "Spidey Sense" when it comes to their kids, and if that was the case, the play on that theme was hilarious. Not his best work, but good. I can see where the insomnia kicked in.

I'm not so sure that it was really a jab at anyone. It struck me as just pure surreal silliness in comic form.
At least, from what I could tell.
