I've noticed that in comic 2090 there's a reference to a zombo-rom-com
XKCD ran this comic http://xkcd.com/734/
SMBC ran this one http://www.smbc-comics.com/?db=comics&id=2090
i'm not drawing any conclusions.

No? No conclusions? Then what was this post, referencing aged comics, really about?

I was just pointing out correlation. It's like a graph joke, but with words, and not funny.

this is a man that could not wait two hours for me to get back from market and activate his account

the truth must be known, and herenseti is the truthener

Incidentally this is in part why I emphasize use of the date system, because The Archive lists comic 2090 as this one.

Sounds like a conclusion to me.

Evidently not, since we still seem to be talking about it.

I just thought it was an interesting reference. The two comics experience a degree of camaraderie. It might be interesting to know which came first, and whether the two are actually in any way related or if it was just a fantastical coicincidence.

If you use the Archive Pages of both comics you would know that the XKCD strip in question was from 2010-4-30 while the SMBC one was from 2010-12-11, which means that once again Zach is a thieving hack who needs to quit trying to appeal to the vacuous and petty nerd "culture" and go back to being The Far Side but with more dead babies.

Theoretically it's a subculture comprised of those who fall outside of cultural norms. Practically it's a less cool variant of hipsterism.

I think you don't get access to Nerd Culture unless you have allergies and an asthma pump.

And you have to name the asthma pump something like "Drok'lor, Acid Breath of Nekterkesh'aa"

I guess it would be anything that mainstream culture derides as being nerdy? Maybe any media that attracts rabid fanboy like behavior? I dunno.

I may need to rename my asthma pump!*

*currently it's called 'puffer' i.e. "Have you seen my puffer?"
