It looks like he just changed the comic based on our silly comments.

If he's breaking symmetry anyway, it probably would have been easier to just erase the water drops and move the hand a few inches to the right in one of the shower shots. That would pretty accurately depict my premarital routine.

Wow, the change was swift. I'd hate to think Zach actually subjects himself to these threads on his work. He must have a strong stomach since negative people are usually the ones that feel strongly enough to comment on them.

The number of artists that have paid homage to other styles and even other famous works of art is astounding. You should consider researching Las Meninas, for example.

We're talking about a nearly 400 year old work of art that has been used by Goya, Picasso,and even Jim Henson (yes, the muppets creator). Originality is not the only form of good art. Appropriate homage to other styles/artists are a valuable form of contemporary criticism that may one day be looked at in a different context.

This. I think complaints about "originality" in art are unbelievably pretentious. It's that line of thought that has brought us shallow shock art like Interior Semiotics. Utterly worthless, even for provoking thought or challenging norms.
