I actually bought a box of Sponch from Walmart last year. It wasn't very good, to be honest. I guess now I know why.

This comic has the honor of being the first SMBC comic that I have decided was too long, and consequently didn't read.

Okay, now I know Zach is just screwing with us. What is a celebrity nipple and what does it have to do with the rest of the cartoon?

Two options: Either the nipple of a famous lady or gentleman, or, the more likely option, a nipple that is a successful entertainer or somesuch for which the public holds high interest.

I guess maybe SMBC is now sponsored by NAG, the nipple awareness group.

Okay, I didn't realize Sponch was actually a product. I thought he was just making a thinly veiled reference to Soylent Green without actually wanting to say it, which I didn't understand either. This joke makes more sense now.

This is more about how the media can spin real objective truths into the questionable. The power of denial is amazing.

The reason the comic is not successful is because he's taking his criticisms of the media too far, so it results in a bunch of easy punches.

And thankfully, there is no mention of pants in the policy.

Why would you want to wear service?*

*Or shoes, or shirts, for that matter.
