But you don't understand, a non-nerd has never had any of those things before. After all, where's HIS anecdote??

See, I assumed it was about the fact that nerds just have so much to cool stuff to be excited to be about as they get older. (By nerd, I guess I mean science geek.) Science is advancing so quickly that there're new discoveries every day, and there will only be more in the future.

I sure hope so, I live in constant fear that one day we will run out of science.

Too bad for those other people who have other interests and can't possibly care about science.

Yeah, what if you're a nerd who's really into violence?

I think being a nerd is great if you fully embrace being a nerd. You can't just half-ass it. My life improved about 500% around age 22 when I decided to crank my nerd up to the max, and have been very happy ever since.

For example, my fiance and I LOVE being nerds. We met at comic-con, like to dress up in costumes like freaks, play an unhealthy amount of video games, go to the geekiest parties, produce a webcomic, play D&D, and quote nerdy movies at EVERY given opportunity. When I proposed to her, it was at comic-con, and was the culmination of a scavenger hunt involving volunteer cosplay steampunk mad scientists, the venture brothers, and troopers from the 501st.

Life is good.

I just can't believe that nobody got the joke the way I did.
Nerd's life gets better over time because tech & science improves the same way.
So while a normal person goes unhappy with turning old and loved ones dying,
nerds goes more and more happy with the new stuff that yonger nerds are continuos developing.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Nerds don't age like people.

It's not that, so much, they just don't have any loved ones.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

Much like Orson Welles in Citizen Kane, nerds only love on their own terms.

It's called Twice Blessed. It just started, so there isn't too much to look at yet. But you can find it at http://www.twiceblessedcomic.com
If only I was as witty as Zach in my writing.

I didn't mean they don't age, It's only that they don't really care much about it, they mind more about tech. I don't know, the joke is terrible anyways
