Votey: Mandelbrot saying, "I'm gonna videotape us doing it while we watch a video of us doing it while we watch a video.."
Funny for the same reason GNU (GNU's Not Unix) is funny.

Never put off until tomorrow what you could get out of doing altogether.

Yo Dawg, I heard you like recursion, so I put a meme in a meme so you can read "Yo Dawg, I heard you like recursion, so I put a meme in a meme so you can read "Yo Dawg, I heard you like recursion, so I put a meme in a meme so you can read "Yo Dawg, I heard you like recursion, so I put a meme in a meme so you can *shot*

In keeping with the running recursion theme, I am once again dissatisfied with today's comic.

"xax"
"what does the x stand for"
"and axa"
"what does a stand for"
"xax"
Solve that!

Re: [Dec-23-2011] Recursive
I know a few recursive sayings:
Hello!
What's your name?
My name is Don Johnson.
I live in Wisconsin.
I work in a factory there.
All the people I meet,
as I walk down the street,
say Hello!
and I say...
[repeat to ∞]
Pete and Repeat are on a boat.
Pete Fell Off. Who is left?
"Repeat"
[repeat to ∞]
Also, most people don't realize that
10 Home
20 Sweet
30 Goto 10
won't make Home Sweet Home, but would actually make Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet Home Sweet [alt-F4]

Re: [Dec-23-2011] Recursive
When you ask them who's left, and they say "Repeat" you're supposed to interpret that as a request to repeat the question, to which they would again respond "Repeat". It requires a willing second participant.Edminster wrote:Repeat is left on the boat. Not sure how that's recursive?Quintushalls wrote:Pete Fell Off. Who is left?

Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that there isn't an invisible demon

My name is Bouriana.
Bouriana, I told you. Bouriana.
Bouriana. I'll hold.
I'm holding.
Yes, Bouriana, that's me. I'm Bouriana.
All right: Bouriana! B as in Bouriana, O as in Ouriana, U as in Uriana, R as in Riana, I as in Iana, A as in Ana, N as in Na, A as in --- Albert! Albert Bouriana!

Oh yeah, the show that has the song:ChaoticBrain wrote:I first heard it on Lamb Chop's Play-Along.Facts about me wrote:I first heard this on the tv show "Monk" in the episode "Mr Monk and the airplane"
This is the song that doesn't end,
Yes, it goes on and on my friend,
Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was
And they'll continue singing it forever, just because
