Do you... do you have a habit of wanting to use mathematical terms without understanding what they mean?

Since when is chemistry not a science?

I feel as though DannyBoy was suggesting powers of ten as a distinct idea, not an alternate meaning.

Or am I the one who's lost?
Being kinky is when you tickle your girlfriend's anus with a feather, being perverted is when you bypass that hassle and just start humping chickens.

They are essentially the same thing, is what I am saying. It was a rather pointless comment, as is this one. As are many of the posts in this forum. Thank you Dane, for mmanaging to convert me to nihilism in the space of one post.

Aren't most stuff made up of smaller spherical stuff? Won't that mean God is a little bit physicist?

Well, you clearly aren't.

And, just like the Bible, there is only one interpretation that is correct*.

10^n are powers of ten. n*10 are multiples of ten (clearly not the same thing), which could be any number with a finite decimal expansion multiplied by a large enough power of ten (pretty much any physical constant since we don't know them with infinte precision). Thus, multiples of ten give no significant reduction in annoying arithmetics and powers of ten simply transfers the annoying arithmetics to the exponent.

A proper physicist god would make unity the only physical constant.

Then it is your mathematical understanding that is incorrect. So, to quote Wally exactly, "do you have a habit of wanting to use mathematical terms without understanding what they mean?"

I feel like an omnipotent being would have no need to simplify things just so us puny humans can understand easier. He can work out all the physics without even thinking about it, why should he pander to us?...

You know what I like most? That my screen is too small to see the right hand side of that image without expanding the window or opening the image in a separate window. Guess what I'm not doing?
