[2012-Mar-28] Brains in Hell.

I liked this one, though mostly just cause the image of a bunch of limp, mostly brainless bodies chilling in heaven made me chuckle. Thoughts?

Nonexistant because our brains are in hell.

Since when is chemistry not a science?

Exactly. My new favourite image of heaven.

I feel like Zach has been posting the same, lifeless, pointless joke for the past three weeks: "Science is better then religion lol!!"

I notice that this is still better than being in hell. There are no pain receptors in the brain. If he had acted on his evil wishes, his brain would be connected to his body in hell, and to its rich variety of pain receptors.

With less evil thoughts, brain and body would both be in heaven. If we assume that St. Peter´s hindbrain is not different from other people, the hindbrain goes to heaven under this circumstances, too, or is unnecessary. Therefore, good people still get to enjoy heaven. The valley of brainless bodies is probably a part of heaven visited only rarely, which is why it appears deserted.

All in all, quite compatible with standard Christian doctrine.

Why do people make this mistake, thinking "then" could possibly substitute "than"? It makes no sense to me.

Not that I'm picking on you, Jacobe, or that I give two shits if I offend you, it just happens so often I'm not ready to accept it's just a typo.
Being kinky is when you tickle your girlfriend's anus with a feather, being perverted is when you bypass that hassle and just start humping chickens.

Maybe Jacobe's point is that Zach is being sophomoric about his recent* comics.

Point happily conceded, both to you and Jacobe.

The issue still needs addressing, though. Professional journalists make this mistake, it's infuriating.

Okay, I'm realising now that the example that's springing to mind is actually video game reviewers, who maybe don't qualify as professional journalists. Burn on them, then.

Awww, that's cute. It thinks it's registered and can have a signature.

Hah, yeah I missed that. My bad.

It was probably partly due to the sheer number of people who post in this section that aren't registered and the sucky nature of the signature.

This obviously wouldn't be much of a problem for men. After all, we don't only think with our brains.
