If you ask me, the dialogue was extraneous and there were also too many panels. However, I think I managed to patch it up in time for it to be salvageable for the regular crew.

That's just because they do not tell kids about the fun part of the job. Shouting "You cannot pass!" with all the thunder and lightning, and then watch them tumble down into the abyss... Also it really impresses the girl next in line.
