I am not a sandwich, I am sandwiches. What does that mean? At what point are two separate sandwiches a group of sandwiches. I am the group

A mystery.

I don't like to brag, but I am basically unbeatable at prod-the-candle.

So the lesson here is that if we whine about a comic being like a far side, he'll punish us with a graph comic.

Well, whoever called it out first knows who they are and can now hang their head(s) in shame. I skimmed the rules once a million years ago and even I know to leave Larson out of here. "The Far Side" is to "The Simpsons" as "a beaten dead horse" is to...?

I think that 'who' is fine, because it's the predicate of "they are", but I'm open to the possibility that I'm wrong.

I think they should change the pronunciation of 'whom' to rhyme with 'bomb' so people stop thinking they sound more educated if they use it in all circumstances.

Yeah, you're right, I forgot that 'to be' takes nominative case.

I continue to love this forum 150% as much as the comic.

I pronounce "Whom" like "bomb" because "hoom" sounds stupid. Whomp sounds stupid too, but less so.
