[2013-Apr-16] Dr. Seuss
"... you don't do the dishes as often as me." Well I certainly hope not! Zing!
... No?
Although I hate explaining jokes, this one does rely on some uncommon linguistic knowledge, so: For those who don't get it, Dr. Seuss should have used "I", not "me". Filling in the implied words in the clause after "as", we can either have "as often as [you do] me", or "as often as I [do]" (the former clearly implying some form of tablewarephilia).
... No?

I have decided this can only be interpreted as the ramblings of a mad man who somewhere along the lines of his upbringing confused 'humour' with 'pedantry'.Hanyou Hottie wrote:"... you don't do the dishes as often as me." Well I certainly hope not! Zing!

In case you weren't aware, new guy, what just happened was that you just got told.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

Yeah I agree, It's a bit mean that whilst I will occasionally complain about a bad comic, I never make the effort to mention when I find one funny, but there have been some good ones lately.

It does seem that he has been trying to get back to the old format as of the last few strips. Maybe he does love us after all!

He's on his honeymoon, I saw on Facebook. So he's been trying to squeeze extra comic-making to cover his absence.Apocalyptus wrote:It does seem that he has been trying to get back to the old format as of the last few strips. Maybe he does love us after all!
Apparently this makes his comics better...

Ed's theory is that Zach makes better comics when he's depressed/his life is shitty, so maybe it's not going wellLethal Interjection wrote:He's on his honeymoon, I saw on Facebook.
