Australia is an elaborate fiction staged by the Wyoming Board of Tourism.Salty wrote:As far as I know, Australia is a myth. Years ago I was promised a free plane ticket there. I never did receive my ticket. Obviously, there was no Australia to begin with.

Every four years, Australia's airports are closed down while the citizens take part in the Danger Cull. All citizens ride on kangaroo back (wallabies if you're under 16) armed with highly toxic blow darts, killing the more dangerous creatures our country is home to. It's old legislation going back to 1967, when the Prime Minister disappeared while swimming, drowned by a swarm of box jellyfish and funnel-web spiders in miniature scuba suits.Salty wrote:As far as I know, Australia is a myth. So they probably couldn't buy a plane ticket to Australia at the time, let alone give it to you.

I don't even know why I have to point this out. It's just so damn obvious. Have you ever considered that the spiders didn't want to get wet?

I question the efficacy of hunting box jellyfish with blow darts while astride a kangaroo. Have you ever actually tried to use blow gun under water?Epoch Four wrote:Every four years, Australia's airports are closed down while the citizens take part in the Danger Cull. While astride a kangaroo or a wallaby? Yes. I can't vouch for ease of use when riding some other inferior animal, like an eagle or a lion. They'd probably ruin it.Kaharz wrote:I question the efficacy of hunting box jellyfish with blow darts while astride a kangaroo. What I've learned from this thread is that one day spiders will rule the world.
