Re: [2013-Sep-10] Wine cooler
I like your style, Kimra. I like your style.
I remember some older brothels would have a red window by the door or a red lamp just near the door. That said, some doctors' surgeries do the same with a red light, so whatever you do, check for a medical sign first.
A friend of mine lives in a really nice older style place in South Melbourne with some friends. The place almost certainly used to be a brothel (it's pretty cool, all the little tells). Above the back door is a conspicuously crimson window pane.
IIRC, at another point in its history, it was also a lawyer's office.

That's why they're called red-light districts.

Occassionally you still see the old surgery lights around here. I used to live down the street from one. But I think the square light was kind of distinct.
I just think they are pretty. So I'm sharing.

Zach made a super funny joke about how wine cooler means two different things and we're just enthralled.
Continual disappointment is the spice of life.

A term that I will now attempt to apply to areas tackling the problem of illegal kerbside surgeons.Astrogirl wrote:That's why they're called red-light districts.

I think it has been derailed several times. I can't be sure, as I've only barely been paying attention.Kimra wrote:We also derailed it. Best thread in Latest Barbie Discussion ever.

I wasn't checking the forum for a while, so I decided to read none of this

It would be a shame if something were to happen to it.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

As far as I know, Australia is a myth. Years ago I was promised a free plane ticket there. I never did receive my ticket. Obviously, there was no Australia to begin with.
