I would argue that the curve flattens around 75K and begins to drop at about 150K.

One a serious note, my family weren't doing all that well financially when I was little. They were pretty relieved when I sussed out what the deal was with Santa, because then they could just ask me if I liked what they thought of getting me for Christmas.
