[2017-02-02] The Multiverse Explained

http://www.smbc-comics.com/comic/the-mu ... -explained

An omnipotent, omniscient god could simply eliminate universes the moment they began to diverge from perfection. Then the multiverse would only contain a still infinite number of perfect universes hosting a still infinite number of perfect beings who all believe in an all-powerful and benevolent God, who never actually has to do anything except poke the [DELETE] button if anything imperfect appears.

Sounds like a nice universe to be in--if you're perfect, of course.

Isn't this one basically the ending of Rama Revealed?

That's quite a spoiler, Songster, just dumping the end of Arthur C. Clarke's Rama tetralogy like that!

Then again, I could imagine someone plowing through all four books and then exclaiming after the last pages of Rama Revealed, "WTF? This whole thing was just an expansion of an SMBC comic?" had they not read your comment. So maybe you've done someone a great service after all.
