I don't understand either the probability of success *or* the life satisfaction measurements of "muddling through". Is it 100% because you're not aiming for anything, so even if you die young you've still succeeded? Even if that's the case, why is the satisfaction value higher than "life of pleasure"? These feel more like the values for zen buddhism than "muddling through life". Like, okay, if you make your entire philosophy to ask for nothing and expect nothing in return, then okay, maybe you can coerce yourself into happiness? But muddling through life doesn't sound like it could be even half as satisfying as hedonism.
