Greetings brave souls!
It's not that time again, but it is getting close.

National Novel Writing Month is approaching. You have a scant two months to get your notes in order, prepare your fingers for their most challenging effort yet, and side step every excuse you can think of to not participate. I urge you all to fight those excuses and do your best!

Some of you may not know what NaNoWriMo is. NaNoWriMo is a single month (November) in which you try to write 50,000 words worth of text. Or in most cases, a novel.

Last year many of the forum rallied and did their best by NaNoWriMo, and it was spectacular. This year lets see if we can do it again: Only Better. I invite everyone to join in, nay, I challenge everyone to join in. And as any good challenge does not go unrewarded those who complete their 50,000 words will be rewarded with a pen.

I'm yours to do with as you will!

I'll sign up tentatively. By that I mean I might sign up or I might not. I'm not very good at writing, but I think I may have a workable concept. I don't want to commit to a decision to compete yet, though. How embarrassing would it be to sign up and then not have any material at end--"my dog ate my novel?"

Also I apparently have forgotten how to reply without quoting, thankfully I remember to delete the quotes first most of the time.

I have been coming up with an idea for a story. Whether I'll finish it due to exams is another matter entirely, but yeah, sign me up.

Also I'd be tempted to continue VvvV, but I figured thats to much of a cop out. Thinking of actually writing up a big thing for Detritus- I'm still debating on what exactly to do. Also a vaguely based on a dnd game we did story, or just doing a whiny stream of thought/biography thing- but I don't think I hate you guys enough to do that.
