I've got like.. 50 words.

Yeah, I don't think its happening this year. Maybe I'll just start writing bad fanfiction- that might turn something out.

Ooooo or character backstory, I always write stupid amounts for that.

I'm about... 8,000 behind now? And this is after I decided to write shitty fanfic instead of something original.

I have 2080 words as of this second. Two nights ago I scrapped my idea for something else and last night I actually started on the new one. I hope to slowly catch up through the use of the #nanowrimo word war function. I see we're all struggling a lot. I'm going to keep my green typewriter button on my avatar to remind me that I used to be good at this shit once.

I had a couple of on-par days and am now on 7141 words. It is my fourth day of writing, so I am above par for that period, but I really need to make it count if I want to finish within my unfortunate time limit of two weeks-ish.

sigh. Just have to hang in there, I suppose!

I'm at 15,000. Which is good, and I'm happy to have managed that much. Tonight my aim is to get it to 18,000, if I can manage more so be it. But I'm doubtful.

I'm at 11,000 but it's a Choose Your NaNown Adventure, so err'time I write and come to a choice, I have to wait until one choice has three votes by the great unwashed. I write on average 1,700 words in a sitting, and today has taken me one hour and 13 minutes to write that many. I don't have time to do it at weekends, so I'm looking at reaching 29,700 by November the endth.

Going to crack 20k tonight. Need to put a couple of big 4k+ days together to get myself on target. It's happening, I'm gonna do it.

I've just cracked 25k. I'm insanely proud and still behind. Ahh pride you lasted a few seconds at least.

I have never felt so creatively drained in my life.

I hope you managed to get there! But even if you didn't that is a commendably awesome effort!

Congrats to anyone who participated. I'll be much more in your face next year. Wa ha ha ha. Unless I'm famous and busy. WA HA HA HA!

p.s. Which means I'll see you next year.

I managed to make it with like 2 hours to spare. I don't know how. It was a series of really good days despite working in a job I hated. But everything went better than expected! I'm just glad to have done anything really, it was pretty hectic for me.
