It is nice really. The few times I've been down to Austin, it was kind of irritating how they will stand in the crosswalk where a light is green. And a dude in Toronto damn near assaulted me when I wouldn't stop.

I think panhandling's illegal here but damned if they don't fuck around anyway.

Yeah, panhandling is extremely common here. The murders bother me more, though. I usually give the people money because I feel bad.

That is really...quite the leap, from panhandling to murder.

Murders bother me less 'cause I mean you hardly ever see them. We have way more of 'em than panhandlers in my neighbourhood, though. Where I work (in a neighbourhood with tons of panhandlers and murders) there are always a couple of hippy teens sitting outside the dollar store and I really don't believe that they actually need the money.

Is panhandling some form of begging, then? Being from Florida, you can imagine what panhandle I'm used to.

I think panhandle is a synonym for beg.

I have never heard that word spoken aloud, because it is definitely not from around here.

Yeah it is, it's also the part of a state that looks like the handle of a pan though.

Like Florida's panhandle, the panhandle I was referring to earlier.

Yeah, but ours is more panhandle-esque.

Your state is also full of the elderly.

Yours is filled with conservatives. Now tell me, which is worse? Rhetorical question by the way.
