I got a free copy of this book from someone. I don't think I would have picked it up if I just saw it in the store. Having said that it was really really good and I should not have judged it by its cover. It's hard to describe what sets it apart from my other favorite fantasy books but I would easily put it on the same level as Sword of Truth and The Eye of the World. I'm waiting for the second one to come out.

I hadn't seen that song/any part of that movie for years. Seeing it now, that song is fucking awesome.

I didn't click the link because I really don't need a Pocahontas song stuck in my head.

I am so glad I read MM's post before clicking it. Thank you, mountain mage!

Also, I'll see if my library has that book, and if so I'll give it a read. Thanks for the tip, snarky!

Me, I disabled all of the sound of the internet, so I can't listen to it. It makes it so much easier to play games.

Except, unfortunately, name that tune.

Also, you're welcome Phoenix.

Oh cruel world that I cannot play Name That Tune! I guess it's okay though because I don't like any popular music.

Yeah, you should probably commit suicide, a.s.a.p. I can't imagine a world without name that tune.

Or, is it the Canadians that are different?!

I can't possibly imagine how a normal human being would come up with that idea. It's like you have no sense of relativity.

You know, I went to a pub quiz a few years ago, and thought I would do really well in the music category because I know way more than most of my friends about music in general. I was suitably frustrated at my ignorance when the game was actually played (it was basically name that tune).

Yes, that's what we're called.
