Fuck, do you know what library I work at?

I can imagine it now. "Oh yeah boss, I know that guy from the Internet. I have to go now."

I thought you mentioned it once.. But after several seconds of futile search, I cannot find the post. So it looks like trial and error.. I mean, how many librarys can Toronto have?

It's the biggest public library system in North America. And I barely even show up.

Is it really? That's pretty nifty to know. One of these days I'll have to make a pilgrimage visit there

This post is quite amusing and befuddling out of context. i.e. read the thread header, and then this reply.

A lot of people say that when they get here. "Sure, the Bata Shoe Museum is nice, but what I'd really like to see is TPL."

So you know, if I hate it, you totally owe me $.51.
It's a good book, so you won't regret it. But if you do, you can pay to travel to Toronto and I'll gladly hand over the 51 cents! Does no one out of 40 thousand people like to read books? Maybe you should think about shopping online more often.
I meant to mention this a while ago. I finally got around to reading l'etranger, and I've decided to let you keep your $.51 too! I know I'm so generous. In all seriousness though, it was a good book, certainly one of the more interesting ones I've read in a while.

I started the 3rd book by Tom Llloyd, and as with the first two it's pretty darn good. He's not my favorite fantasy author (that's reserved for Hobb and Tolkien), but since this topic was revived, I'd figure I'd post that here.

I've been reading some plays by Samuel Beckett. I'm a big fan of closet dramas, but Beckett didn't write closet dramas. So instead I read them and pretend they're closet dramas, and they're very funny and clever. I have a ton of books that I got over the break so I hope I get through them pretty quickly, before next Christmas, ideally.
