Never read it, but I've seen enough t.v. adaptations to know the general story.

I have seen it a lot and know the story well enough to just wish for it to be over.

They just made another version recently, as you're probably aware, so don't count on it.

Maybe I'll just not see it unless it's on at Christmas sometime and I don't have the wherewithal to fake illness as I did this year,

ugh but i'm lazy and i have like eighty other tabs open because I'm an indecisive shopper but FINE i will do it because I <3 U in the manner popularised by those little candy hearts you get mid-February.

also the film i described is really a film but I can't remember the title of it for the life of me. It came as the bonus disk in the Hoodwinked two-pack many years back.

I just want to watch a film with robots in it that don't look like humans ala bladerunner.

They really should have just stopped at Muppet Christmas Carol. They can't top that.

The only book I've ever read by Dickens is David Copperfield, though I've always meant to read more. The problem with A Christmas Carol is that I already know the story so well, I worry about my ability to read through it.

Though after reading through the thread, I really want to rewatch the Muppet version, so maybe there is hope.

The new one with the Jim Jims in it is amazing REALLY REALLY true to the book. First time I've ever been scared by bells. Intense. And yeah the book is the bomb dig. And the muppets christmas carol is the bomb dig.

AND CHRISTMAS IS THE BOMB DIG.
