Yes. Yes he is. Though that hardly matters, I'd be gay for him if he was a girl. Talent is more sexy than anything else.

I wouldn't agree with that, though talent is a major factor in willingness to bear their children in my mind. Many talented people out there I wouldn't have sex with unless I was promised a child. Is it still being gay for them if your female? That never seemed to make much as much of a deal as it is for guys...

Eh. It's hard for me to comprehend 'sexy' because in all honest that requires some sort of appreciation of something. I can understand 'ugly' because I am adapt at hating and ridiculing things. But 'sexy' is - well it's not in my repertoire. So normally my concept of attractive comes about from their character and charisma etc. I try really hard to be shallow, but sometimes it's difficult.

On a side note: I believe that lesbians are still considered 'gay' so therefore it would be turning gay for someone. And since it's the first time I've ever uttered such a term, I think it deserves the awe that guys apparently get when they say the same sort of thing. Awe at me.

So here is just a thread I wanted to revive so I figured I'd ask here, is there a new theme with forum avatars? Or do Kimra's and Amerika's just happen to line up oddly?

Also I really love the new avatar Kimra, its fantastic.

If you don't mind me skipping back to the original question for the thread....

My favorite book is Alas Babylon by Pat Frank. The only people who I know who have read it are people who I made read it (although it is recognized as a classic). Basically its the story of a family who survive nuclear holocaust. I really identify with the main character because he is kindof lost (figuratively) before the attack but finds himself and becomes a leader in the crisis. Its more about the people than the sci fi elements which is hard to achieve when you have major events occurring in the story like nuclear holocaust.

This Alien Shore looks interesting and up my alley. I added it to my wish list.

That takes a lot of trust! For me its like saying don't think of the miniature pink elephant floating directly behind your head. I can't go to a movie these days without first checking that its rotten tomato score is above 60%
