I gave birth on Tuesday.
my favorites are definitely Carlin, and Hicks.

George Carlin is one of those guys who can be hilarious whether he's screaming obscenities or speaking mildly and politely like a guy I play chess with downtown.

Bill Hicks, is basically, who I want to be when I grow up. He was painfully funny, and painfully true.

She weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 onz. It took me 39 hours, she was finally delivered at 12:12pm on Tuesday via forceps. She's 20 and 3/4 inches long. She's a carbon copy of her mother and we're both incredibly in love.

Congratulations.

39 hours, eh? Thats a rough one.

I think mine was pretty similar (though I don't remember it) and I was about 3 ounces bigger.
Thankfully I was late by 5 days. I was all set to be a Christmas baby. Which wouldn't have been fun. I'm quite content with my Dec. 30th birthday, thanks.

yauch. I feel for you. My first kid was a long labor like that. Did you have back-labor at all? That's what strung ours out.

My birthday is December 25th. ;)
I'll be twenty three on Monday.
Oh the excitement of it all.



I had back labor a bit, but the main thing was just that my pubic bone and her head didn't fit well together.
Thank God I didn't go through all of it just to get a C section though, because that would have made me supremely angry.

The Christmas birthday is all I've ever known. I wouldn't have anything to compare it to.
