[2012-Jun-28] While Loop
Unless the pity-based relationship thing in the votey is actually working, I think this guy just got caught in an infinite loop.
Also, the loneliness/AHHHHH!!! code in the 2nd panel makes no sense whatsoever.

Maybe output is unbuffered and the computer is really, really slow.BoomBoom wrote:There's a missing "AAAAAAH!" in the output...
It's valid Python, except for a missing colon after the while clause.Willa wrote:Also, the loneliness/AHHHHH!!! code in the 2nd panel makes no sense whatsoever.
Should have been a for loop though.

Yes, let's all take naming advice from a guy called "aah".
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

I like ahh I respect ahh, ahh is a good name to have. Well done ahh, you chose a very good name, a memorable name.
Don't criticise ahh, that's nice, it's a basic sound, it's concise. I read somewhere a guy urging people not to simplify the words they use because you simplify your thoughts. However, simplifying your thoughts isn't bad, as long as you don't lose anything from it. Simple is good. And that's why I applaud ahh.

As sudo code, it is perfectly acceptable. The syntax of your preferred language is irrelevant. But really, you need to give Zach some creative freedom to simplify programming to something that the common man would be able to understand. The output however is incorrect as there is one AAAAAAH! missing. The question is, did Zach not notice the small error, or did Zach do it on purpose just to screw with the readers that would check?

Yeah, but why would you be saying "AHHHH!!!" while you had a low loneliness level?sotic wrote:It's valid Python, except for a missing colon after the while clause.Willa wrote:Also, the loneliness/AHHHHH!!! code in the 2nd panel makes no sense whatsoever.

Any nonzero value is true in Python. Anything but false or nil is true in Ruby, which the code is also almost valid in (missing do ... end).Willa wrote:Yeah, but why would you be saying "AHHHH!!!" while you had a low loneliness level?sotic wrote:It's valid Python, except for a missing colon after the while clause.Willa wrote:Also, the loneliness/AHHHHH!!! code in the 2nd panel makes no sense whatsoever.
