How does the salad weight relate to life? I really don't get it.

Also Zach already did the joke back in 2012:

The salad is a metaphor for life in that the customer is focusing on the abstract concept of 'winning' rather than having a salad he would actually get enjoyment out of in the same way that some people idolize the concept of success in life to the detriment of genuine happiness or enjoyment in the moment. When life is taken in such a way it is known to cause dissatisfaction and lead to a midlife crisis in a similar way to the customer's subsequent epiphany. Why the sandwich represents womanhood, I do not know. Maybe something to do with a short period of good things(the filling) surrounded by bready nothingness? My experience of womanhood hasn't really left me with enough knowledge to see the analogy...

The last time the red-button-punchline didn't make sense though because judging by the ingredients, other than olives that can be picked out easily, the salad must taste awesome.

Yours is much deeper, so I'm a little embarrassed so share crass reading of this, but:
If you stand the traditional triangular sandwich (especially toasted one) on it's side (so the hypotenuse is vertical and facing you) it kinda looks like, you know, the vagina.

The sandwich representing womanhood means that his alternative to "winning at salad" is to accept that the feminine choice is superior; not that somehow the sandwich itself is feminine.
