You are correct in your assessment. The military is tracking a fictional concept. It's not like that's anything new, huh?

It's just a fun little thing for kids and those who want to keep some kind of mysticism in their kid's life. There's no harm and no foul here.

Re: Christmas Cheer
Most of us from what I've seen are US residents. Also technically the tracking organization is Norad aka United Nations. If anyone here is from a country that Isn't in the U.N. I'd -love- to hear about it, honest! Actually how can I emmigrate there and where the fuck on the globe is it? I mean really damn.
Also yay! My linguistical idiosyncrasies shall spread! (evil cackle) Soon I'll have you all using words like exoteric or saying smooth as silver. (already spreading at my work! ) (/end evil cackle) Anywho yeah, I've always liked ectra better, I know I got it from somewhere god if I know where at this point though.

Re: Christmas Cheer
Well.. why not weep for the other words you've tried to have us swallow? Like "prair" I think you either mean prayer or praise. I've no idea which at this point, but its one I've noticed you use an awful lot in a varied enough post to assume its on purpose and some bastardization of one or the other based on context.AHMETxRock wrote:And yet, mabey wasn't given the time of day...

also technically NORAD is just the US and Canadia - and is 90%+ just the US. Technically this is correct. The best kind of correct.Asherian wrote:Also technically the tracking organization is Norad aka United Nations.

Gods above and below, I love that word.I also find it interesting how the definition for it is surprisingly esoteric. That's a delicious kind of irony right there.Asherian wrote:Soon I'll have you all using words like exoteric

Ed for knowing that word I owe you a cookie or something. You rock. Most people just assume I misspelt esoteric when I say it. Yes, its one of the easiest to give examples of irony in my opinion. Its sad how often that word is completely misunderstood(Irony not exoteric or esoteric)

Re: Christmas Cheer
It surprises me that others don't realise that it is a word. I mean, seriously. Start with the commonly held definition of esoteric: known by "insiders". Since 'eso' is a prefix meaining 'inner', and 'exo' means 'outer', it's no great leap of deduction to realise what it means. Come on, people! It's basic English!

Re: Christmas Cheer
I'd never heard it used, but I gathered its meaning.
I figured you had probably spelled it correctly, as it did turn into another proper prefix, but I would've left the opportunity open for a simple wrong spelling (even typo, as s and x are rather near eachother).
