Twilight

Back on Twilight, I must say, it disgusts and disturbs me to know some people view it as something beyond cheap entertainment. I have never really been one for romanticized, poorly-developed books, but I admit they can be fun to read in some instances. I never even finished reading Twilight because it couldn't even satisfy me on that shallow level. It's utter lack of real conversation was a huge turn-off. I mean, I, on occasion, enjoy reading girl-porn romance novels for some sleazy enjoyment, but Twilight doesn't even become interesting or at least graphic enough to be good on that level. It's a buildup of flat, laughably unrealistic characters that only results in a mediocre plot that is executed horridly. And them some people call it their favorite book? *Shudder*
