sorry to 2ble post, but i figure this wouldn't work as an edit from my last one... hopefully I am within crayon's "alloted time" with my guest comic, and if not... screw you guys.

That comic is pretty funny. Your first one is funnier, though. The second one was funny with the joke he told, but not so funny with the commentary thing on the bottom...but the joke was funny enough to make it an awesome comic.

Well, the joke is less about that particular word (which I'm not sure is spelt correctly ) But the fact that it's a 'single', and not double. A double entendre is when something is said that has two meanings. I will think of a joke with one in it. (prior warning: this isn't very good).

So, a lady walks into a bar, and says to the barman, "I'd like a double entendre". So the barman gives her one.

Yep, that was the joke. Now if that doesn't really clear it up, you can be excused, it wasn't the most obvious example. So I will explain. Y'see, there are two meanings. 1) Give her one: A drink 2) Give her one: a reference to sex*. So it was a double entendre. Therefore, if you were to say a single entendre. It would have one meaning, and be in no way clever.
