This movie will be out to rent. I know this is about the book but oh well.

Renting's for chumps. I either want to own a movie, or not.

Renting is in many ways superior to ownership, unless it is something that makes you jizz your pants from joy.

Why pay money to see a movie everytime, when I can get it once and watch it as many times as I want, forever and ever?

Because I only usually watch a film once?

Buy the good movies, rent the one's your not sure of. I refuse to pay $30 for a movie, if I hate it, when i can pay $5 and find out if I like it or not first.

30 dollars? Where do you go to watch movies? Caviar-On-The-Go? I can usually get away with about 10 dollaridoos on concession.

I'm fairly certain he is talking about purchasing the movies. $30 still seems a bit expensive, though only by about $5 here. And if it is a special edition or sommat, then perhaps the $30.

My Walmart is currently carrying the full The Office (UK) series (both seasons and the special) for something like $11. The Future Shop next door has it for $66. Which is kind of funny. What it really means, though, is that everyone else will drop price pretty soon.
I had the same thing with Flight of the Conchords, which was $35 last fall, was in Walmart for about $18 about a month and a half ago, and about 3 weeks later, it was around that price everywhere.
I didn't buy the DVD, though I was severely tempted, as I just watched an episode the other day and rather enjoyed it (granted, not as much as the US version). When I went back to buy my iPod yesterday, I couldn't find it again. I'll keep an eye out for it, though. Gervais for the win.

Well it's a moot point, I don't buy DVDs anyways.

I'm talking about buying the DVD and that was a generously modest price for a brand new DVD.
Also Australian dollars. That's like 20 American right now?

I have at least 300 dvd's which I cherish and admire. They outnumber my books... that's kind of sad.

I would suggest saving up and making that your next investment, the PS3 was MADE for HD output. Sony pretty much assumes you have at least a 720p display.
